9 Months

Blakely is 9 months old…**sigh** I'm sad that she is growing so fast…but she is getting more and more fun.  She has been full out crawling for the last couple weeks, which has allowed her to catch up on some much needed snooping and searching of tiny little objects that might be tasty, so she puts them in her mouth.   She is all over the place and seems to be most curious about the garage door.  Thankfully she hasn't discovered the stairs!  She follows me around all day…all I hear are *slap, slap slap* of her hands on the floor as she crawls.  She has a walker now and she enjoys coasting around the kitchen and Tate enjoys being able to share her snacks at a lower level. Lately she has been enjoying chunky foods and feeding herself…she LOVES honey nut cheerios, when I pour them on her tray her hands go at the cereal like hungry hungry hippos.  I have noticed she is a good mix of Tate and Riley…adventurous but easily startled…eats anything but particular about a schedule…deep sleeper but occasionally wakes at weird times…and definitely has a personality!   She likes to growl at the boys to get them to growl back…she bounces on her butt when they talk to her.  She wiggles when we sing or clap our hands.  She's just fun to have around.

I took some pictures of her today while the boys were sleeping.  Girls are so much more fun to take pictures of!

First:  this swim suit was purchased almost 3 years ago, while I was pregnant with Tate.  My mom and I saw it and thought it was too cute not to purchase…in hopes that Tate was a girl…which he wasn't.  So I have been using it in photography sessions.  But Blakely got her turn!

Second: This is one of my old baby sweaters…it is in such good condition and it adorable!  She is also wearing little knit pants…which, after being stretched to get around her legs, ended up being shorts…but cute nonetheless.

Third: Some very good friends of ours (who had their baby a week after we had Blakely)  sent us this lace romper when she was born and I have been waiting and waiting to take pictures in it!  I LOVE IT!

Finally: I have taken countless little girls' pictures in this pettiskirt.  It is my favorite skirt I have.   And I knew I wanted to take Blakely in it…it's so pretty and feminine and she just looks like a dream in it.
