Blakely 5 Months

Oh Blakely! You are a hard girl to please.  IF you are not given the right food…the right way…at the right time….you cry and cry and cry.  She doesn't spit up (unless you accidentally squash her belly)  she just gets really bad gut aches.
Life is pretty easy until we switched to the cheep similac (seriously what could possibly be that different to upset her tummy!)  Then we started solids and that made her constipated and she cried and cried.  She has a very sensitive tummy.  Other than the digestive issues…she is an easy baby.  You lay her down…she goes to sleep.  You give her a bottle she finishes it.  You change her diaper she smiles and grabs her toes.  She likes to be sang to and tickled.  She likes the bath tub and splashes in the water.  Tries reeeeeaaaaallllly hard to grabs her toes and suck on them…she grunts from all the pressure on her robust belly.

Grabs toes
can put full weight on legs
rolls over both ways
pushes chest off floor
briefly sits up without support
started solids…with my baby bullet and I love it!
drink 5, 6-8 oz bottles a day
fills out 6-9 month clothes
size 3 diapers
sleeps from 8am-8pm, 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon
splashes in the tub

She is very comparable to the boys…she is smaller than riley…same size as tate.  Riley and Tate had mastered sitting…and both boys were working on crawling.  She is more like a bump on a log.


Who does she look like…we have heard it both ways "Oh she looks just like her dad or she looks just like Riley…"  I think she is the perfect combo of both the boys.  She is growing some fuzz on top, and it looks like a dark blonde…not the iridescent blonde Riley and Tate had.  She does resemble Riley a little more…I foresee in the future Tate being the obvious standout.  He just looks like a clone.
