Labor

4 Years Ago Today…we spent the night in the hospital with no progress and I was started on pitocin at 8am.  And like we found out with Tate and Blakely…I am immune to that crap, so it wasn't working.   I had my water broken at 4pm and that started the most painful 7 hours of my life.  As most first time mom's do, I thought I could have this baby au natural…ha ha, I was totally in over my head.  I made it 7 hours, with my pitocin cranked (way over the limits that they do now!) which caused my contractions to be 30-60 seconds apart…I was exhausted and we ordered the epidural at 11:30pm.  HALLELUJAH!!!!  And thus Day 2 at the hospital…that is 29 hours so far, if you are keeping track.
